Announcing New Pattern

This evening, I am super proud to introduce a new free pattern available in my pattern shops at Ravelry and Craftsy. The inspiration is the increasingly colder temperatures in my neck of the woods. Just last week we were snowed in for a few days as 13+ inches dropped on our area. My family was lucky to only have our power out for a while. Some in my area was left without power for 5 days. That's what happens when winter visits the mountains!

I am trying a new format on this announcement. It will be what I do in the future for all my patterns. In the next few weeks, I plan on going through my posts and creating a similar link system for ALL my patterns. This is done to make it much easier for you to click the right place.

With no further ado, the newest pattern is.....

The Beanie Ornament

You can click the following logos to find the free pattern. The price will not be changed for this pattern. It will remain free!

If you want to share your created patterns, just upload a picture at Ravelry with this as a project! I can then surf through what you have created and potentially add the picture to the profile.

Happy Crafting,
Sarah

Announcing New Pattern

Good morning readers! This beautiful autumn morning gave me a great idea for a Christmas ornament. Most people don't know this, but I am a writer outside of designing crochet patterns with some writing friends. One has become a very good friend to me. This morning, I decided I wanted to send her a set of crocheted ornaments for Christmas, but the one thing I wanted to include was a book ornament. I was hoping to find one so I didn't have to waste brain power, but there wasn't one to be found.

What was a girl to do? Well, design her own of course! So I am introducing a new pattern available through Ravelry and Craftsy. This pattern is available at an introductory cost of $1.99 USD. Get it while it is on sale!

New Patterns: Barbie Mini Ball Gown and Tea Length Ball Gown

For the last two days, my fingers have been crocheting like crazy. I have this insane notion that I need to revise and re-release my old patterns in the new format with new photos. This requires me to re-crochet the items to re-photograph. What was my first pattern choice for this, you ask?

Well, it was the Barbie Ball Gown. It was a floor length dress with alternating colors every two rows.

............................

Yeah, that is a lot of work! (rolls eyes)

I am not sure how I decided to make every two rows another color on a dress that had many stitches and went to the floor, even if it was just for Barbie.

So, for two days I have been selecting colors of yarn that I felt would photograph well. I stayed up later and began working first thing in the morning. With sore hands and wrists, I want to show you the newest patterns in my pattern stores and Etsy.

Barbie Tea Length Ball Gown
(armholes and halter)

Barbie Mini Ball Gown
(armholes and halter)

These two patterns are modifications to a previous pattern as mentioned but include two finishes: armholes and halter. I personally began falling in love with the way this dress falls and the halter option! If you are interested in purchasing, you can find it at Ravelry, Craftsy, and Etsy.

Have a wonderful day!

A New Design

As I am working toward a new me and focusing on my new goals - spiritually, mentally, emotionally, financially, and in a business sense - I decided to revamp my blog look to something sleek.  I have added links to my Ravelry and Craftsy stores at the top of the blog as well as an About Me section.  Feel free to check it out if you wish!  Over the coming months, I plan on announcing new patterns and creating a new view of my work through this blog.  I hope that you continue to explore, craft, and grow with me.
