INTRODUCING! A new free pattern - Purse with Flap
Okay...it's not for women! It's for a 12 inch doll. As per my declaration earlier, I am going to update easy, basic patterns for free on my blog. Take a look at the new pattern!
It has been sooo long....So MANY new projects
I am not sure what got me into the mood to blog again, but whatever it was...Thank you! I have so much to update. Some of my photos of old posts apparently disappeared, so I am in the process of updating old posts. Please be patient with me! I do plan on providing free patterns at some point. So that will be something to look forward to!
Today, I will share my most recent accomplishment. The pattern needs fine tuning and needs to be accompanied by about 3-5 more patterns. A set of course. But it's worth it.
As you can see...it's a Barbie pattern! I love making cute little clothing for Barbie. I am currently in the process of expanding my booth to include a Barbie section. I will have to keep you updated.

Lolly the Dolly
Another pattern I finished lately is a doll. I am working on different versions as well as outfits for her. There will be a male version at a later date, so please stay tuned for those.
I don't know why I decided to create a doll pattern. Either way, it took a week to work on and finish. And I am in love. I cannot figure out if I am going to sell it or not.

Crochet Bell Pattern - NEW
This is another quick and simple Christmas ornament. It works up super quick in under 10 minutes. If you are a quicker crochet, you could probably get it done in 5 minutes.
You can purchase the pattern here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/107542976/pattern-crochet-bell-ornament

New Jewelry
I have heard that a lot of crochet craft booths end up having a lot of jewelry for sale. In the last week, I decided to give it a try. The first thing I created was a rose ring.
It was super easy to make! And the cuteness factor is out of this world!
Yes it's July, but I have decided I will talk about Christmas since it's 6 months away. My little sister, who is modeling, told me that she wanted some crochet jewelry for Christmas. Since this is my first attempt at crocheting jewelry, I was hoping that it would be a quick and painless.
Because the ring was simple and easy, I felt like jumping into another portion of jewelry making with crochet: earrings. This one requires size 10 cotton thread and super SUPER small needles. Small enough that I can barely see the hook portion. Another first: working with small needles.
After trial and error using the size 7 needle, I gave up on using one so small. (Yes, I know...Quitter.) But the needle was too small and cramping my hand. I shifted the needle to a size 1. It was slightly bigger and worked just as well.
This is the two sets of earrings I have created out of a beautiful green and red sparkly thread.

Sorry for the black grid. This is what I am going to use to display them on my booth.
I say that it is a great first try. Needs some work, but those flower ones are so adorable even I would wear them. Keep watching my etsy store. You may find different colors of that flower one available for purchase.

Shape Buddies
I saw a pattern for a set of shape buddies somewhere. I can't exactly remember where. Maybe Red Heart? Who knows! Anyway. I LOVED the idea of providing a toy that a toddler could easily pick up and carry around. It didn't need to be elaborate. Just simple.
Presenting Rectangle Shape Buddy
He measures 12 inches by 10 inches! Someone told me that he looks like Spongebob.
He is available in my etsy shop at: https://www.etsy.com/listing/102534217/rectangle-shape-buddy
In the next few weeks, I will be adding other shape buddies to my shop. Keep watching for them!
